A day trip to the Isle of Muck is a summer adventure you won’t forget! From May to September, Arisaig Marine’s MV Shearwater offers boat trips to this beautiful island, giving you three hours to explore its unspoiled landscapes, wildlife, and warm community. If you’re visiting between March and October, CalMac also runs a service on Tuesdays, with a shorter two-hour stopover.

Getting Here 

The MV Shearwater often makes a stop at the Isle of Eigg on the way, with the journey taking around 1 hour to Eigg and 30 minutes from Eigg to Muck—though if wildlife is spotted en route, the skipper will slow or stop so you can enjoy the moment! Keep your eyes peeled for whales, dolphins, and seabirds. You never know what you might see.
