​The Little Red Boat is a family-run seafood business on the Isle of Muck, led by local fisherman Sandy Mathers and his wife, Vicky. Sandy's deep-rooted connection to the sea began in childhood, fishing with his grandfather using handmade wooden creels. After gaining experience creel fishing off Muck's coast, he fulfilled his dream of owning his own vessel, aptly named The Little Red Boat.

In November 2022, a severe storm destroyed the original Little Red Boat while it was moored. The local community and supporters rallied together, enabling Sandy to acquire a new vessel, the Heather Belle, ensuring the continuation of their sustainable fishing operations. ​
