PORT MOR GUESTHOUSE

Nestled just around the bay from the ferry terminal, Port Mor House offers a warm welcome to visitors. From the house, you can watch boats come and go from the harbour, as well as passing vessels on their journey through the surrounding waters.

Originally built in the 1970s—when visitor accommodation on the island was scarce—Port Mor House was designed with comfort and hospitality in mind. Today, it features eight inviting guest rooms, along with a cosy, wood-lined sitting room and dining area where guests can unwind and enjoy delicious home-cooked meals.

Surrounded by a spacious garden, the house embraces a farm-to-table ethos, growing as much fresh produce as possible to enhance every meal. On sunny days, there’s plenty of space to relax outdoors and soak up the tranquillity of island life.

Just across the bay, the Isle of Muck Tearoom is the perfect spot to drop in for a leisurely coffee and a homemade snack.

Currently undergoing an upgrade, Port Mor House is set to reopen for the 2026 season—ready to welcome guests once again to this peaceful haven on the Isle of Muck.
