The yurt is not currently available for let. We apologies for any inconvenience.
For the adventurous (and those who enjoy camping), you can stay in the Yurt (available May-September). The Yurt is a canvas framed circular structure based on a Mongolian design. It is erected on the North side of the island, in a beautiful secluded location (near Blah Mor) with views the Cuillins of Skye, and the islands of Eigg, Rum and Canna. It has a wooden floor and a small wood-burning stove in the centre for heating and water, and a small gas stove (with 2 hobs and a grill) is provided for cooking. There is a composting toilet closeby, and shower/wash/toilet facilities are available at the Community Hall (small charge) in Port Mor (10 mins walk). There is also a toilet at The Craft Shop. The Yurt sleeps 3-5 people, and campbeds and pillows and pillowcases are provided. We also provide cooking equipment, crockery, utensils and a coolbox including ice-packs, and a kotlich (Hungarian outdoor cook pot). Please bring your own sleeping bag/bedding, towels and provisions.
