A new and beautiful purpose built Lodge offering fully catered accommodation to the highest standard with magical views across the sea to Rum, Canna and Skye. Run by Toby and Mary Fichtner-Irvine and their family (formally of Port Mor House Hotel) and located at the North side of Muck and set above the stunning sandy beaches of Gallanach Bay. Gallanach Lodge offers the ultimate getaway in a relaxing and luxurious surrounding while retaining an informal atmosphere.
Each of our 8 bedrooms has been individually styled and all have fantastic views. Gallanach Lodge offers 3 king sized rooms, 1 four poster double room and 4 twin rooms. All of the beds have been hand made by a local craftsman on the Isle of Rum using elm sourced from our small farm in Aberdeenshire. The rooms come with free Wi-Fi access, a flat screen TV with freesat channels, fluffy towels, feather down duvets and pillows, and Egyptian cotton sheets. The bathrooms and shower rooms have all been fitted with powerful showers and deep baths and have under floor heating as well as heated towel rails. All bathrooms have been finished to a very high standard and come with complimentary toiletries.
We use only the finest seasonal Scottish seafood, game, meat and vegetables. Where possible all of our shellfish, feathered game, lamb, pork and vegetables are sourced from the island itself. We know exactly where all of our produce has come from and cook it in the simplest of ways to allow all the natural flavours to speak for themselves. We bake homemade bread on a daily basis which we offer to guests with each meal. We specialise in shell-fish and the local fisherman along with his boat, "Quite Waters", catches all of our shell-fish around the coast of the island. This is kept month-wateringly fresh in creels at the end of the pier and is collected by us within hours before being served on your plate. You won't find better quality or fresher shell-fish anywhere in the world.
We offer a wide choice of cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurt, scones, pancakes, toast and home made preserves. We make our own pork sausages, grow our own plump tomatoes (seasonal) and use award winning Stornaway black Pudding to create the ultimate full cooked Scottish breakfast.
We offer a selection of around 25 of the finest Malt Whiskys, a range of Fine Ales and all the main stream spirits. We also offer a good selection of wines to complement our meals or to enjoy on a long summers afternoon.
We charge £100 per person for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast (including a 3 course evening meal with a selection of dishes). We offer special group discounts and please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

When you arrive on Muck, we will meet you at the pier and collect your luggage. We can also offer you a lift to the Lodge in one of our Landrovers.
